How to Play

Roll the Dice
Roll both dice and add the numbers together to get your total for the turn.
Shut the Tiles
Flip down any combination of tiles (1–12) that adds up to your dice total.
Keep Rolling
Continue rolling until no valid combination exists. Your remaining open tiles are your score.
Lowest Score Wins
Shut all 12 tiles? You win instantly. Otherwise, the lowest total score wins!

Shut the Box started as a simple idea: what if the best game you never heard of was made the way it deserves to be? Not plastic. Not mass-produced. Just solid wood, honest craftsmanship, and a game that brings people together.
We built our first board on a weekend — just a piece of walnut, a miter saw, and a lot of sandpaper. Then we added a screen. Then Bluetooth. Then the idea that one day, your favorite bar might have their own branded version on every table. We’re still building.
